Berlin, jour/Day 19: Pêle-mêle / Mish-mash

Hey hey,

Le temps file. Demain je rencontre de nouveau Beate, et un couple d’amis qui ont quitté Berlin fin 2011… et sont revenus la semaine dernière! Quelle incroyable coïncidence. Ça va conclure mon séjour ici sur une note plus que positive. Pour ce qui est du reste, on verra bien. J’ai toujours deux sentiments contradictoires et simultanés quand je pars d’ici. Je suis toujours fâché parce que je pourrais vivre ici en permanence, mais je suis également toujours optimiste parce que je sais que je vais revenir bientôt. On ne s’en sort pas. Bienvenue dans ma tête, accrochez-vous bien.

Hey hey,

Time flies. Tomorrow I see Beate again, and a couple friends who left Berlin in late 2011… but came back last week! What an amazing coincidence. This will end my stay here on a very positive note. As for everything else, we’ll see. I always have two opposing feelings each time I leave here. I’m pissed because I could live here and save myself all the anguish, but I’m also optimistic because I know for a fact that I’ll be back soon. There’s no way around it. Welcome to my mind — hold on tight.

: Dans la tour. On a droit à plusieurs images d’homologues un peu partout. La Fernsehturm a déjà été élue la plus laide de toutes (avec la Žižkov Television Tower de Prague en 2e place — heureusement, j’ai visité les 2!) / Inside the tower. There were a few pictures of other towers — the Fernsehturm was recently voted the ugliest of them all — with the Žižkov Television Tower (Prague) in 2nd place. Fortunately, I’ve visited both!

: Le panorama est inspiré d’un endroit réel. Certains bâtiments ont été déplacés pour améliorer la vue, mais tout est réaliste. / That panorama was based on a real spot. Some buildings were moved to allow for a better view, but it is realistic as is.
