Berlin, jour/Day 3: Édition iPod Edition

Hey hey,

On devait aller au IKEA aujourd’hui faire quelques commissions. La chaleur était (encore) écrasante, et on a aussi cherché un ventilateur. Il n’en restait plus aucun dans les places qu’on a faites. Ugh.

Une fois revenus, ce fut sieste, sushi et cinéma! Wolverine au Sony Center. Bon film, ça faisait un heureux changement de la nouvelle tendance « L’HUMANITÉ EST MENACÉE! ». C’était à plus petite échelle, et c’était bienvenu, même si les méchants étaient très oubliables.

Donc, demain… Match de foot décidé à la dernière minute! Match du DFB-Pokal (et non la Bundesliga que je vais aller voir le 10 août). On va aller là à 2 couples, Stef, moi, Beate et son mari. Ensuite, bagages pour la Pologne lundi matin.

Quant au titre d’aujourd’hui, je savais qu’avec le IKEA, je serais chargé comme une mule, donc j’ai pas apporté de sac à dos (ni mon « bon » appareil photo — seulement mon iPod). Toutes les photos d’aujourd’hui ont été prises avec le iPod. Enjoy!

Hey hey,

We were supposed to go to IKEA today run a few errands. The heat was (again) merciless, so we also looked to get a fan. All the places we went to were out. Ugh.

Once we got back, it was nap time, then sushi and a movie!
Wolverine at the Sony Center. Good movie, a nice change from the new « MANKIND IS THREATENED! » trend. This was on a smaller scale — a good thing, even though the bad guys were very forgettable.

So, tomorrow… Soccer game! This time, DFB-Pokal and not the regular season of the Bundesliga (that starts on August 10, and I’ll be there). Tomorrow we’ll be two couples: Stef, me, Beate and her husband. Then, time to pack up for Poland on Monday morning.

As for today’s title, I knew that with the IKEA thing, I’d carry a crapload of things around, so I ditched the backpack and the camera — only brought my iPod. So all of today’s pictures were taken with the iPod. Enjoy!
