Hey hey,

J’étais supposé aller au palais Dolmabahçe ce matin, mais mon système digestif en a décidé autrement. J’ai été plus ou moins forcé de rester ici jusqu’à 14 h environ. Nous en avons profité pour regarder la cérémonie de succession de la reine Béatrix des Pays-Bas. Maintenant ça va mieux, et je devrais pouvoir faire cette visite demain matin, et peut-être une autre par la suite, on verra bien.

C’est pour ça qu’il y a moins de photos aujourd’hui. Cela dit, j’avoue qu’une journée extra-pénarde n’a pas fait de tort. Nous sommes sortis un peu cet après-midi — il y a plusieurs boutiques dans le coin, donc on a pu faire quelques achats du même coup.

Hey hey,

I was supposed to go to the Dolmabahçe Palace this morning, but my digestive system decided otherwise. I was pretty much forced to stay in until about 2PM. We watched the ceremony in the Netherlands (Queen Beatrix giving up the throne to her son) this morning. I’m feeling better now, so I should be able to make that visit tomorrow morning, as well as another one afterwards (maybe). We’ll see.

So that’s why there are fewer pictures today. That said, I’ll say an extra-slow day wasn’t all that bad. There are a few shops in the area, so we got some gift shopping done.
