Hey hey,

Ce sera short and sweet ce soir. La journée a été longue, la grippe me ruine encore et on doit finir les valises pour demain — faut partir d’ici à 6h30 AM.

Donc les retrouvailles fut avec ma partenaire de conversation Beate, qui parle un français impeccable (et russe aussi, ayant grandi dans l’ex-Allemagne de l’Est). On a placoté un bon deux heures — et on en a marché une bonne par la même occasion. C’était bien agréable de la revoir, et on va sûrement se reprendre à quelques reprises après notre retour de Prague.

Qu’est-ce qu’on a vu aujourd’hui, me demandez-vous? Quelle chance, j’ai pris des photos!

Nous sommes aussi passés par le Gendarmenmarkt, et plusieurs autres endroits. Alors voilà, demain nous serons à Prague! En espérant que la connexion Internet ait un peu d’allure là-bas.

Hey hey,

Tonight’s post will be short and sweet. It’s been a long day, the flu is still kicking my ass and we have to finish up packing for tomorrow — we’re leaving at 6:30AM.

So, the « meeting another friend » part was with another German conversation partner, Beate, who speaks French flawlessly (Russian as well, since she grew up in the former East Germany). We talked for a good two hours and took quite a long walk. It was very nice, and we’ll probably do it again a few times once we’re back from Prague.

What did you see today, you ask? Well, today’s your lucky day, because I took a few pictures!

A chocolate volcano! –9– A chocolate bear! –10– A chocolate Church of Remembrance. –11– A chocolate Titanic (maybe that’s why it sunk, ho ho ho). –12– A chocolate Reichstag. –13– A chocolate Brandenburg Gate. –14– Now we’re back at Alexanderplatz. –15– Yup.

We also walked through the Gendarmenmarkt (look it up in the linked blog above) and several other places. So that’s it. Tomorrow we’ll be in Prague. Hopefully the Internet connection will be decent at our hotel.
