Porto, jour 2 : Encore de l’autobus! / Porto, Day 2: More bus time!

Nous sommes devenus semi-accros au concept « Hop on, Hop off » de visites guidées. Très pratique, pas besoin de se casser la tête à s’orienter, et dans une ville pleine de pentes comme Porto, ça économise des forces. Donc, deux visites aujourd’hui, et deux autres à venir demain. Le tout s’est passé plutôt sans histoire, en fait. On essaie de prendre ça un peu plus mollo. Le ciel était couvert le matin, mais on a eu droit à un soleil splendide par la suite — c’est incroyable comment ça peut changer un paysage. Les photos n’en furent que meilleures aussi. Alors voilà.

We’ve become semi-hooked to the « Hop on, Hop off » concept for guided tours. Very convenient, no need to go crazy trying to find your way around, and in a city full of hilly streets like Porto, it saves your legs. So, we took two tours today, and we should have two more tomorrow. Everything went fairly well overall. We’re trying to take it easy a little bit. As for the weather, it was overcast this morning, but we got nothing but sun in the afternoon — amazing how that can change a scenery. The pictures turned out that much better, too. So there you go.

: On est dans un quartier ordinaire (près de la station Carolina Michaelis), mais il y a quand même quelques belles maisons. / We’re in an average part of town (near the Carolina Michaelis subway station), but there are still some nice houses.

: À l’intérieur. Il y avait un service en cours… et ça placotait à pleine voix et prenait des photos AVEC LE FLASH! WTF?!? / We went inside, during mass, actually. Some morons went in there chatting full blast and taking pictures WITH FLASH! WTF?!?

: Bref, on n’en revenait pas. Ya des gens qui ne savent vraiment pas vivre. / Anyway, we couldn’t believe it. Some people just don’t know how to behave in public.
